Verlo Mattress Factory Stores Opens New Location In Knoxville, TN

August 14, 2004 -- Verlo Mattress Factory Stores, the nation’s largest Craftsman-Direct® mattress retailer, announces the grand opening for its new factory/showroom location in Knoxville, Tennessee, located at 5307 Washington Pike. This new 2,700 square foot facility is the first factory/showroom model store for this market. To celebrate, the Knoxville store will be hosting several fun-filled events throughout August.

A ribbon cutting ceremony with the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will be held on August 11th at 11:30 AM. Verlo’s founder, Dale Williams, and President, Dave Young, will be flying in from the Whitewater, Wisconsin Home Office to be in attendance during this ceremony, along with several local officials. A reception will follow the ceremony.

On August 14th, everyone is welcome to attend the several fun-filled activities and events that are planned, including:

300 bracelets good for free admission to Dollywood Theme Park on Labor Day will be given out on a first come, first serve basis.

Participate in the "Princess & the Pea Contest." Customers will have the chance to guess how many "peas" are between the mattress and box spring for a chance to win a custom-built queen size mattress set. The content takes place for the entire month of August.

Knoxville's Fire Station 11 will also be in attendance, building five beds that will be used at the fire station.

Gibbs High School cheerleading squad will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, August 14th, starting at 2:00 PM.
